I'm so excited to share this lookbook of Target's fall AVA & VIV collection. As you can see, I'm in love with the prints, flannels, and skirt silhouettes. I am elated by the freshness of the overall collection and I am happy to see the input of myself, Gabifresh, and Nicolette Mason come to life. We were allowed to preview the entire collection and use the collection to style some fab looks for the upcoming season. How fun!?! Be sure to check out how Gabi and Nicolette styled it on their blogs. Pieces from the collection are slated to start trickling in early August, but I've seen pieces already in my local Target. Style Notes & Highlights - I got to preview literally over a 100 pieces from Target and I really got a feel of the improvements from last season. My top improvement was that there is the jeans. There are over 10 styles and something for everyone. A lot of my apple shaped readers loved the jeans and said they fit them perfectly. That's great, but I found it hard to fit the jeans myself. This year Target is offering a few more styles that fit the bottom heavy girls. Personally, I'm in love with the jean jegging. They fit and look great. Oh and can you say twin sets! Twin sets are still going strong and I think it's awesome. Twin sets give you an opportunity to make multiple looks out of two pieces and allows you to stretch your clothing budget.
