I had such a hard decision with this dress. I had to decide whether to wear in it on Christmas or New Year's Eve. HA! I chose Christmas, because it was red. I forget how great I look in this color, but just don't come across it often enough to wear it more. Red dresses are so hard to find during the year. You pretty much have to stock up on them around Christmas. Anywho, B and I had a lovely Christmas Brunch at the Fairmont Hotel in Downtown San Jose. It was definitely tasty, had lovely ambiance, and live piano players. After cooking for Thanksgiving and eating leftovers for a week, I welcomed going out to eat for Christmas.
Style Notes: I'm so glad Rebdolls decided to bring this dress back. I ordered a size 4X in the dress, because it was out of stock and that was the only size available. Luckily, it fit fine as I kind of figured it would. The extra sizing gave me room to blouse the top portion. It was big in the waist, but nothing a belt wouldn't cover. This dress does come with it's own sash. You'll want to note that I tried to do some quick snaps in the hotel, but the lighting wasn't great and B isn't an expert with the flash just yet. The selfie photo that holds the truest color. I got so many compliments on my dress. People even came up to our table just to say how much they liked my look. I wish the photos came out better (blame bad lighting), but check the link. Grisel (model & Rebdolls owner) looks breathtaking in the dress. Just know I was not doing this makeover over again. It took too long. HA!
