A few weeks ago I got shoot some of my spring looks. I've been ordering so many pieces for the season. I like to get everything early, so I can start to formulate what I want to look like for the season. I am not sure if that makes sense, but in my head it does.
Outfit Logistics: Top - H&M $24, Skirt - Asos $40, Necklace - Liz Claiborne, Watch - Michael Kors $250, Belt - Target $13, Shoes (I have no idea)
Anyways, I do want to touch on the fit of Asos, since it seems like I've been getting a lot of fit questions about the Curve Brand. Lately a lot of the items that I have been ordering have been running big. I've been tailoring down the waist on everything, but that is normal for me. The last two items I ordered, including this skirt, I probably could have ordered a size down. But the awesome thing is Asos has free returns and free shipping, so you don't lose any of your shipping monies. I hope this helps with some of your fit questions.
Love this outfit from head to toe and your hair is super cute!
ReplyDeleteThank you, I just got it trimmed and I'm mad. I think I found the perfect length, so I gotta wait a couple of months for it grow back.
DeleteI love this look. I was thinking of a way I would style this skirt and I think you did a great job with it. I also know what you mean about the sizing at Asos Curve. At first everything ran small, but now everything runs big! I'm not complaining though, I like the option of oversized sometimes. (Note: I wish the trousers/jeans ran a bit bigger though, they ALWAYS seem to run small).

Wasn't it cool for Tonia to hook you up with Ford to take these pictures?!?! She's always helping people out.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I love this skirt of yours and can't wait for you to post the rest of the looks:)
Yes it was! And yes she does always look out. She has done nothing, but try to help me out since she met me :)
DeleteLove this outfit. Ive seen the skirt on ASOS but was too chicken to buy it (me & stripes have a bad history!LOL). It looks great on you!!! I too have noticed that the ASOS Curve dresses run large. I like the pairing of the green with the skirt!
ReplyDeleteAs usual, you are not helping with my resolve not to buy any more clothes for spring! I love this on you - I'm a fiend for stripes right now and I'm craving something (else) in that shade of green. Is that the H&M top with the peplum?
ReplyDeleteThank you and yes it's the top with the peplum from H&M. I figure it can be worn in or out with this look.
Deletegreat colors , u look amazing:)

ReplyDeleteActually this was taken pre-$100 bra.
DeleteGreat minds think alike because I was considering buying this skirt! I bought their red and black polka dotted skirt in November and wound up returning it because it was HUGE on top and then super fitted on the bottom. Weird! Love the outfit color combination, you look great as usual!
ReplyDeleteI LOVEEEEE this outfit on you!!!!!
