Labworks for Target

Labworks for Target
Labworks for Target is carrying a magnificent capsule collection for both straight and plus sizes.  (A capsule collection is a collection that has around eight work wear pieces that can be swapped in and out easily to make multiple outfits.)  The great thing about this collection is that is super cute and affordable.  Nothing over $60.  They've got some great staple pieces.   I bought seven pieces with the intent of keep only a few things.  Everything I tried out was really nice.  Most of the items were made out of a soft, but heavy ponte knit.  The Labworks Collection also some flirty summer pieces in there as well.  Labworks is not at the Target locations, it is available online only.

Note:  The white sleeveless peplum top was bought from the straight size collection in a large.  I got it in that size because that was the largest size that wasn't sold out.  It's a fab top that has unfortunately sold out.  I'm not sure if Target will restock.  Also, some of you ladies were asking about my bra.  I become in love with long line bras all over again.  I'm not sure if you remember when Lane Bryant had 5-way long line bras.  It was years ago.  They discontinued them.  Well I found someone selling them (brand new & unworn) on Ebay.  You can find a few here.  I also just put in the Ebay search, "Cacique Long Line Bras."  I love the long line bras because it conceals the "back bubbles" and the band gives you that lift that is hard to find with a strapless bra.  I see that Lane Bryant has brought back some fancy long line bras, I'm hoping they bring back the 5-way ones they had.  I need one in black.

    1. Both the regular and plus sizes were only sold online, so for once this wasn't a plus size thing.

  11. I would love to see how the back of your shirts and jackets look. Just because it's nice to see how the fabric lays. I know that may be tricky :)

    3. BTW: Target should be sponsoring this post because without it I would not have known about this collection! How sad that would have been.

    4. LOL, I wish, but it's good -- I like the be in charge of what I post, so that yall know that I'm really digging what I'm wearing. I'm soooo conscious about not selling out the reader. I actually just did these photos for this blog post, because I didn't want it to sell out and you guys not know about a cute, affordable, and easily attainable line. A lot of the time I wait to wear things and they are gone before I post. This was too good to let that happen too.

    1. The pants fit fine. Their is give, but not a whole lot. I did think the waist band was wide and that's why I returned. I didn't want my pants to come down, but that's b/c of my body type. It may workout for your body type.

  25. How does the sizing with the skirt run? If there's plenty of stretch I can wear a 16 however if there's none to little stretch I'm a solid 18. What size would you recommend?
