20 Pieces under $30 - Garnerstyle

20 Pieces under $30

 Top |  Shoes |  Jacket |  Shorts |  Earrings | Clutch

So this is the beginning of my 20 plus size pieces under $30 segment.  A really good friend of mine inspired this new segment that I'm going to do once a month. She is what you would call frugal.  I always joke and say that she doesn't want to spend more than $30 on any clothing or accessory item.  I also always get a lot of readers that ask me how they can shop cheaply, but still accomplish the look that they want.  I see deals all the time, but that's probably because it's my job to be on the internet looking for fabulous finds.  Looking for great deals requires you to stalk the your favorite shops and it is work.  I decided to take a little bit of the work out of it for you with my top 20 pics for the month.  I hope you find something that you like.  Let me know what you think of this type of segment.

Coupon Note:  Some of these items are under $30 with a coupon.  Find the coupon codes below from the retailers I used:  H&M - 0241 - 20% off, Dorothy Perkins - STYLE25 - 25% off, Old Navy - ONEEXTRA15 - 15%off, SimplyBE - 5682 - 30% & Free Shipping, Kohls - TOUCHDOWN - 20% off

    1. Uh oh.. Don't know what I did but I don't know how that link on the word "shorts" got there! Please ignore, I don't know what it is.... Sorry!

  2. Some of the links would not work for me as well, but here is a link to the navy pencil skirt pictured above. I purchased this skirt at Target on clearance, and it is a fabulous cut and fit!

  4. Forever 21 is my number one place I like to shop for pieces which are consistently reasonably priced! Old Navy is my second favorite!

  7. I'm like your friend. I don't really want to pay an arm and a leg for my pieces. I will splurge on something that I really want, but other than that, I'm a "is it on sale?" kind of girl. That polka dot dress is calling my name!! I need to get into something other than stripes and I think this dress fits the bill.

  8. If you have a big stomach should you wear the pleated skirt? The pleats look big and not sure they would lay flat..

    1. I have this skirt in the peachy color. The pleats lay pretty flat. I can see what you mean by adding extra volume, but I thought the pleats acted more like ruching. I hope that helps.

  11. Thanks Chastity, GREAT Post! I'm a frugalista too and I very seldom pay more then $25 for clothing. I usually stop at department stores and off price stores though - Macys in particular often has the best sales/just bought some Calvin Klein printed pants for $23 last week!

    2. I wasn't aware I could order one, can you suggest a few vendors? I was going to shop around for my pieces. I'm plus size btw so I was gonna hit Macys, H&M, and Dillards. Thx.
